LANSING, Mich. — WOW, it has been a beautiful weekend across Mid-Michigan and today felt almost fall-like out there with temps around the 70-degree mark. Overnight, we will turn partly cloudy with temps falling into the 50's for what looks to be perfect sleeping conditions if you feel like opening those windows up! Monday looks to be mostly sunny with winds shifting to the south ushering in slightly warmer air that will send temps towards 80-degrees, but the humidity will stay low. Clouds thicken a bit by the late afternoon ahead of a weak cold front approaching from the west.

The front passes through Monday night, but I think we will stay dry as there will not be a lot of moisture to work with. This boundary will stall out through Wednesday then. A wave of energy will ride along that boundary Tuesday night so there will be a chance for some showers and thunderstorms before we clear out again Wednesday afternoon. A stronger front moves through Thursday returning cooler temps by the end of the workweek.
