LANSING, Mich. — Have the umbrella and jacket ready to go, you will need both this week. Scattered showers are expected to last all day. The most persistent/ steady rain will come this afternoon and evening. It stays cool due to the overcast conditions and temperatures won’t move much with highs only reaching the upper 50s. Rain tapers off overnight with spotty drizzle and patchy fog. Mostly cloudy with lows that only dip into the upper 40s.

Mostly cloudy Tuesday with a few isolated showers off and on through the day. It will be a touch warmer with high temperatures in the low 60s. It won’t be a washout, but we will see a few showers Wednesday afternoon with highs in the low 60s. More scattered rain through the day Thursday and it will be cool again with high temperatures in the mid 50s.

We finally catch a break from all the rain for two days on Friday and Saturday. Partly cloudy both days and it will be chilly as highs only reach the low 50s. Temperatures overnight dipping into the mid to upper 30s so it will be cold. Sunday scattered showers return and it stays on the chilly side with highs only reaching the low to mid 50s.
