Frost is Back Saturday Morning

A chilly weekend will precede a week of slowly warming temps

LANSING, Mich. — Another chilly, frost-filled morning is expected across Mid-Michigan with lows falling near the freezing mark.

In fact, temperatures stay well below normal this first weekend of October with highs only reaching into the 50s, and it's low 50s on Sunday with some light rain.

Still, we'll aim to rebound in both the temperature and sunshine departments this coming workweek, as plenty of sun and high temps returning to the 60s are expected.

It's possible that by next weekend we could see a day back in the 70s, again, and this "Indian Summer" trend could hold for a short while.

As we extend deeper into the month, almost all of the country looks to enjoy an above-average trend in temperatures through the middle of October. Fingers crossed, here!
