LANSING, Mich. — Pop-up showers and storms are rolling through early this evening, striking locations on a hit-or-miss basis. Most activity is long out of the area by sunset, with warm and muggy air sticking around overnight.
Skies turn mostly sunny for most of Tuesday, but a very small chance for another few pop-up showers or storms exists tomorrow afternoon. It’ll be another hot, humid one with highs in the upper 80s.
Wednesday and Thursday have the better chances for rain this week, although rainfall totals will be minimal as none of the passing systems will bring washouts. Temperatures follow a cooling trend into next weekend with highs in the upper 60s as dry weather takes over.
