LANSING, Mich. — Stretch of fall-like weather settles in today through the weekend. Partly cloudy this morning as the last of the cold front moves south. Skies clear turning mostly sunny this afternoon, the haze that has stuck around the last few days will be gone so we should see clear blue skies. Temperatures this afternoon only reach the mid 60s, which is nearly 10 degrees below average. Clear skies tonight and it gets cold with lows that fall into the upper 30s!

Coolest days of the week expected Friday and Saturday. Highs only reach the upper 50s to near 60 degrees Friday under sunny skies. We will likely see patchy frost Friday night into Saturday morning with lows in the mid 30s. Protect sensitive vegetation Friday night so it doesn't get damaged by the cold. Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 60s, cold again Saturday night with lows in the upper 30s to near 40 degrees.

Still feeling like fall Sunday with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid 60s. We start to warm up some early next week with highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees Monday afternoon under completely sunny skies. Tuesday is the first official day of fall and it should be beautiful with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 70s. We stay dry and sunny Wednesday and it continues to warm up with temperatures in the mid 70s.
