LANSING, Mich. — Rain and even a few thunderstorms expected this evening and into tonight. Dry to start the day with some fog this morning. Mostly cloudy through the afternoon with temperatures reaching the low to mid 50s by 4 P.M.. Rain moves in from the southwest starting at around 5 P.M. and will move northeast through the evening and overnight. Scattered rain with a few embedded thunderstorms expected with pockets of heavy rain and also some strong winds possible. Temperatures hover in the 50s overnight as the front passes through. Friday will feature a few thunderstorms early in the morning before tapering off to light rain by the time the sunrises. We should be dry by noon tomorrow. Temperatures start in the low 50s Friday morning before cooling down through the day, likely seeing temperatures in the 30s by Friday evening with gusty winds. This weekend will be dry and sunny, but also chilly. Highs in the mid 30s Saturday and low 40s Sunday. Temperatures start to recover reaching into the low 50s Monday and Tuesday with continued sunshine. Next chance for rain comes Wednesday with highs in the mid 50s.
