Early Friday Showers, but Dry and Cooler Weekend

LANSING, Mich. — Another muggy night is in store with some passing showers and temperatures holding in the 60s. Shower activity continues into the early hours of Friday with some slightly cooler weather as a couple fronts slide through the area.

After a very small chance for a pop-up shower around 4:00pm, skies begin to clear out as drier air moves in. Low temperatures will fall to around 50 degrees by Saturday morning; that's the coolest we'll have been at any time in more than a week.

Saturday and Sunday are cooler days with middle 60s high temps, but also arguably more comfortable. Both days feature a good deal of sunshine, calm winds and much lower humidity. Overnight lows will be in the 40s this weekend.

After another dry day Monday to begin the month of June, warmer temperatures return with a few chances for showers and storms by the middle of next week.
