LANSING, Mich. — A chance for few showers linger this morning, but will amount to little more than drizzle. We will dry out this afternoon along with clearing skies. Turning mostly sunny by this evening. Highs this afternoon once again reaching to around 80 degrees. Mainly clear skies tonight and it will be good sleeping weather if you want to open up the windows with low humidity and temperatures in the upper 50s.

Thursday will remain dry and warm with mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs in the low 80s. Friday the sunshine sticks around and it will be cooler with temperatures only reaching the low 70s.

Expect more sunshine for the start of the holiday weekend Saturday with highs in the mid 70s. Dry through the day Sunday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 70s. A chance for thunderstorms Sunday night but it looks like a fast moving system and we should be dry by the time the sun rises Monday.

Labor day Monday looks nice, if not a bit chilly. Highs only reach the upper 60s to low 70s Monday afternoon under partly cloudy skies, but it looks to stay dry through the day if you have plans to be outdoors. Tuesday will start dry, then end with scattered thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 60s Tuesday afternoon.
