LANSING, Mich. — Today will be the last mild day and the last day we’ll see temperatures in the 60s for quite a while. Cooler air with below average temperatures move in Thursday through next week. Our Wednesday looks nice with increasing cloud cover and high temperatures climbing into the mid 60s. It’ll be breezy this afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches the area, and scattered rain showers are possible late tonight as the front moves through. Low temperatures will drop into the low 50s.
Temperatures tomorrow only rebound into the low to mid 50s in the afternoon. Spotty rain showers will remain in the forecast for Thursday, but the majority of the day will be spent under partly cloudy skies. Clouds clear overnight and it gets cold with lows in the mid 30s.
Friday will be a chilly day with morning temperatures in the 30s and afternoon temperatures only reaching to near 50 degrees. A few stray showers will be possible Friday evening, otherwise there will be plenty of sunshine.
The weekend will be cool with highs in the low to mid 50s. The majority of the weekend will be dry, but we can’t rule out a few stray rain showers on both Saturday and Sunday. Monday will be partly cloudy with highs in the lower 50s and then more rain is expected to build in by Tuesday.
