LANSING, Mich. — Cooler, almost fall-like weather in store for today and tomorrow. It will be beautiful today with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid 70s this afternoon. There will be no humidity and a nice northwest breeze so it should be comfortable if you want to open up the windows or spend time outdoors. Skies remain clear overnight and it will get chilly. Low temperatures fall into the low 50s so you’ll need a jacket Wednesday morning.
Wednesday looks like a copy and paste kind of forecast. Mostly sunny once again with highs in the mid 70s. Low humidity with calm winds through the day. Another chilly night with lows in the 50s under mainly clear skies.
Warmer temperatures then begin to take over by the end of the work week. Daytime highs reach into the low 80s Thursday with plenty of sunshine. Mostly sunny Friday with highs in the mid 80s and a touch more humidity. Heading into the weekend we start dry then end with some rain. Mostly sunny and warm on Saturday with highs in the mid 80s. Scattered showers or storms will be possible late Saturday night before a front moves through on Sunday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move west to east through the state Sunday morning with some clearing taking place Sunday evening. Temperatures look to stay warm with highs in the low 80s Sunday afternoon. That trend will then continue into early next week with highs in the mid 80s Monday under mostly sunny skies.
