LANSING, Mich. — Tonight, daylight savings time comes to an end so be sure to wind the clocks back an hour, or else you may get the best parking spot you ever have at church.
Clouds thicken up quickly tonight as a cold front approaches from the west looking to move through between 2 and 4 am with rain showers along its passage and gusty winds. Temperatures start out tonight in the upper 40s but behind the front, the mercury tumbles into the low 30s by tomorrow evening. Winds will pick up as well and we do have a wind advisory in effect Sunday from 9am - 7pm. We could see gusts up to 45 mph which may lead to isolated power outages. Definitely want to secure any loose objects outside before the winds really pick up tonight/tomorrow. With the gusty winds and cooler temps tomorrow, lake effect snow showers move through as well and we will see these scattered about through the day with a coating possible on grassy surfaces.
Next week we dry out and warm up into the 60′s so hang in there!
