LANSING, Mich. — The workweek will end on a slightly cooler note with temperatures in the lower 80s for two more days.
Some early patchy fog will burn off quickly, but morning clouds will linger Thursday with a few widely scattered spotty showers. Some late sun should scoot us into the low 80s.
Sun will be much easier to come by on Friday with temps bumping up a touch, and we surge back into the 90s this coming weekend. A few isolated storms late in the weekend may be a welcome rain for some.
It's worth keeping an eye on the tropics, as any storm development in the Gulf of Mexico could impact our warm July pattern. High temperatures could run in the upper 70s to low 80s to end the month with drier conditions expected.
