LANSING, Mich. — Quiet conditions tonight as temperatures retreat into the upper 50s for most under a mainly clear sky.
In the few hours right after sunset, those who enjoy stargazing may want to take a peek towards the northwest sky for Comet NEOWISE, which will be visible during the post-sunset evenings for most of this month.
If skies are clear enough, you will not need a telescope or binoculars, but they certainly help provide more details! Look for the Big Dipper and then nearly straight down towards the horizon.
Temperatures will slowly warm throughout the week, ultimately making it back into the 90s by the weekend with increasing humidity.
Wednesday night into Thursday will be the best chance to see some rain over the period, with some isolated chances this weekend that we'll continue to keep an eye on.
