LANSING, Mich. — Back to reality today with colder air settling in. Highs will be closer to normal for early February reaching the mid 30s this afternoon. Mostly cloudy today with a few peeks of sunshine. Wednesday will start with some sun before the clouds fill in through the day turning mostly cloudy. Highs only reach the low 30s. Snow arrives late Wednesday night (around midnight or later) and will carry over into the day Thursday. Widespread snow possible Thursday morning with a messy and slow commute. Scattered snow showers will then linger through the day Thursday. Early snowfall estimates of about 2-4" look likely by Thursday evening. Some snow may linger early Friday before we dry out in the afternoon. Cold and mostly cloudy Friday with highs only reaching the upper 20s. Dry this weekend with some sunshine Saturday and Sunday. Highs in the low to mid 30s respectively. Slight warm up next week with highs reaching the upper 30s by Monday.
