Cold With A Few Flurries

LANSING, Mich. — Any untreated roads may be icy and slick due to the light snow we picked up yesterday and last night. Temperatures are in the 20s this morning and we’ll warm into the low 30s this afternoon. Plan for mostly cloudy skies through the day with a few flurries possible. Skies will remain mostly cloudy tonight with lows dropping into the low 20s by daybreak Friday.

Milder air will build in Friday afternoon with highs expected to reach the mid 30s. We should also see a bit more sunshine with partly cloudy skies.

After a short break from the messy weather, another system will move in over the weekend. A mix of rain and snow showers are expected Saturday with highs in the upper 30s. Some of the mix will linger into Sunday, but at this point, the best chance of precipitation looks to be on Saturday. Highs will be in the upper 30s both days.

Next work week will start off calm with mostly cloudy skies on Monday and partly sunny skies on Tuesday. Temperatures will rise to near 40 degrees early next week and we should stay dry. A few scattered rain showers look possible on Wednesday with highs near 40 degrees.
