LANSING, Mich. — Cold and windy today. Highs this afternoon only reach the mid 20s with wind chills down in the single digits and low teens all day so bundle up. Winds will be breezy from the west northwest with occasional guts near 30 MPH possible. Mostly cloudy with the chance for light lake effect snow flurries off and on through the day and into tonight. Partly cloudy overnight with occasional flurries and lows down in the mid teens. Friday is also cold with highs in the mid 20s, not as windy but we'll still have wind chills in the teens at times. Mainly cloudy again tomorrow with a few flurries possible. This weekend looks nice, and warmer too. Highs in the low to mid 30s Saturday with mostly sunny skies. A few more clouds Sunday, but mild with highs in the mid 40s. Temperatures reach near 50 degrees Monday, but we will see some rain. The chance for rain showers persists Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid 40s.
