LANSING, Mich. — Cold this Valentine's day. Temperatures in the single digits early today with wind chills at times briefly dropping below zero. We warm up into the upper teens to around 20 degrees this afternoon. A mix of sun and clouds through the day with a few isolated snow flurries possible. Frigid again overnight with lows in the single digits, wind chills down near zero again Saturday morning. We start with sun then see increasing clouds Saturday afternoon. It will be a little warmer with high temperatures near 30 degrees. Light snow will move through Saturday evening with minor accumulations many folks will see little more than half an inch. Sunday is dry and partly cloudy. Warmer with highs reaching the mid 30s. Monday we see snow in the afternoon that looks to change over to rain Monday evening and scattered rain showers will last overnight and into the day Tuesday. Temperatures hover in the mid to upper 30s early next week. Colder air returns Wednesday with highs in the mid 20s, we will see more sunshine.
