LANSING, Mich. — Quiet and chilly again today. Highs in the mid 30s this afternoon with a few more clouds across the area. Mostly cloudy tonight and it stays cold with lows down near 20 degrees. Wednesday starts dry with partly cloudy skies. Highs tomorrow in the mid 30s. Snow moves in Wednesday evening and persists overnight with about 1-2" of accumulation by Thursday morning. Scattered snow continues through the day Thursday with another 1-2" of snowfall possible. It will be colder Thursday with temperatures starting in the upper 20s and falling into the upper teens by the end of the day. Lows Thursday night into Friday will be frigid with temperatures in the single digits and wind chills below zero Friday morning. Valentine's Day on Friday will be cold with highs in the upper teens and partly cloudy skies. We warm up over the weekend. Daytime highs near 30° Saturday with some sunshine. We'll see light snow Saturday night into Sunday with minor accumulations. Mostly cloudy Sunday with highs in the upper 30s. A wintry mix changing over to rain Monday with high temperatures reaching the low 40s.
