LANSING, Mich. — Feeling more like January today. A few flurries this morning give way to partly sunny skies this afternoon, but the big story today is the cold! Temperatures in the low 20s this morning with wind chills in the single digits. Highs this afternoon only topping out in the mid 20s with wind chills in the low teens all afternoon so bundle up. Dry tonight with increasing clouds, it remains cold with low temperatures in the mid teens. We warm up quickly tomorrow highs reaching the mid 40s late in the afternoon. Dry during the day Thursday with increasing clouds. Rain moves in Thursday evening and will last overnight and through the day Friday. Mild to end the work week with highs near 50 degrees Friday and scattered rain through the day. Rain changes over to a wintry mix and eventually snow Saturday. Some travel impacts are expected, more details will come as we get closer. Sunday is dry and cold with highs in the low 30s. Warming slightly into the upper 30s early next week with a chance for light mix on Tuesday.
