Cloudy Cool and Mainly Dry Through the Workweek

LANSING, Mich. — Good Sunday evening!

After a cloudy and cool day across the region, it looks like we will stay that way overnight ahead of an approaching cold front. Tonight’s lows fall into the upper 20′s with mostly cloudy skies featured throughout. By tomorrow morning, the cold front passes through but it won’t have a whole lot of moisture to work with here in Mid-Michigan. With that being said, there is a chance that a few snow showers move through which wont lead to any real accumulations but could create a few slick spots on the roadways. The better chance for snow will exist the further north you go. For the remainder of the day, Canadian high pressure begins to build in and that will harbor chilly air which will allow highs to only climb into the lower 30′s. Behind the front, winds will become gusty as well, which will combine with the cool temps and cause wind chills to feel like the teens.

We get even colder into Tuesday (although winds subside) with the day starting out in the upper teens to low 20′s. The rest of the workweek looks dry and cool, but we will start to see temperatures rebound as we head into the next weekend with a chance for some rain/snow showers Saturday and Sunday.
