LANSING, Mich. — Good Saturday evening! Turned out to be a mainly dry day across Mid-Michigan although we did see thick clouds making it feel a bit gloomy out there. We still could see a few light rain/snow showers through the overnight hours although I think most of us avoid this because there just is not a lot of moisture for the weak system to work with. Sunday starts off cloudy with a few rain/snow showers in the morning and temps right around the freezing mark. Through the afternoon we trend towards clearing with highs getting into the mid to upper 30′s.
Clouds quickly fill back in to overhead skies Sunday night into Monday as a Clipper races towards the state. That quick moving system darts through on Monday and we will likely see scattered snow showers along its passage with light accumulations primarily on grassy surfaces.
Another system moves our way for Wednesday, this one starting as rain but turning to snow Wednesday night. MUCH colder air behind it, gusty winds and occasional snow showers will take us into Christmas.
