LANSING, Mich. — Chilly conditions today through the weekend. A mix of clouds and sun today and it will be chilly with highs only reaching the mid 40s. Those temperatures are more than 20 degrees below average for early May. We clear out tonight and it will be cold. Low temperatures plummet into the mid 20s so a hard freeze is expected. A Freeze Warning is in effect from 11 P.M. to 9 A.M. Saturday, cover up or bring inside any sensitive vegetation you don't want damaged by the cold. Saturday will be just a few degrees warmer with highs in the upper 40s under mostly sunny skies. Mother's Day stays cool with highs in the low 50s, a few showers will last off an on through the day. Partly cloudy with highs near 50 degrees Monday. From there we will see slowly rising temperatures for the rest of the week. Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 50s Tuesday. Temperatures near 60 degrees Wednesday with mostly sunny skies. Scattered rain Thursday with highs in the low 60s.
