LANSING, Mich. — We’re starting the work week with chilly temperatures and a few scattered rain showers. Most of this week looks cool and below average stick around with daily high temperatures only warming into the mid 40s to low 50s.
Today will bring a few morning rain showers, but most of the day will be spent under mostly cloudy skies with temperatures hovering in the mid 40s. Skies will remain mostly cloudy tonight with lows dropping to near the freezing mark. Skies will go from mostly cloudy on Tuesday morning, to partly cloudy by late afternoon. Tomorrow’s highs will once again be in the mid 40s.
Sunshine returns to the forecast on Wednesday with mostly sunny skies expected, which will allow temperatures to warm into the low to mid 50s. Thursday will start off with a little sunshine, and then we’ll see increasing clouds with a chance of rain in our southern counties by afternoon and evening. High pressure will build in for Friday and skies will once again become mostly sunny. Temperatures Thursday and Friday will be in the upper 40s.
The Halloween weekend looks pleasant with highs in the low 50s and plenty of sunshine. Expect mostly sunny skies on Saturday and partly cloudy skies on Sunday. Trick - or- Treating Saturday night will be chilly with temperatures in the mid 40s by sunset with partly cloudy skies.
