LANSING, Mich. — The chilly conditions will continue through the work week with daily high temperatures ranging from the mid 40s to the lower 50s. Today’s weather looks fairly quiet with mostly cloudy skies and possibly a few light showers this afternoon, but most folks stay dry. Expect high temperatures in the low to mid 40s this afternoon.
The cloud cover will move out of the region tonight, which will allow low temperatures to drop to near 30 degrees by daybreak on Wednesday. With the help of mostly sunny skies tomorrow, temperatures will rebound into the low to mid 50s in the afternoon.
Thursday will bring increasing clouds and a slight chance of rain in our southern counties. Most areas in Mid-Michigan will likely stay dry on Thursday. High pressure will build in for Friday and skies will once again become mostly sunny it will be chilly with temperatures only reaching the mid 40s for daytime highs.
The Halloween weekend looks pleasant with highs near 50 degrees and plenty of sunshine Saturday. Expect mostly sunny skies on Saturday and partly sunny skies on Sunday. Trick-or-Treating on Saturday evening will be partly cloudy with temperatures in the low 50s at 6pm, dropping into the 40s after sunset.
