Chilly End to the Workweek

Posted
and last updated

LANSING, Mich. — Chillier air is here to wrap up our workweek.

Temperatures will hold near the 40 degree mark for most of the day on Friday, this following some light showers after midnight tonight.

Skies will begin to clear out during the daytime despite the west-northwest wind that keeps our temperatures at bay.

This weekend a strong low pressure system will move into the Great Lakes. This will initially tug some milder air north before we cool back down behind the frontal passage.

The timing means that our high on Sunday morning will occur early since we'll warm up Saturday night.

As the front passes through Sunday temperatures will plummet into the afternoon and evening.
