LANSING, Mich. — Light scattered snow across the area this morning, we will continue to see some flurries along and north of I-96 through the lunch hour before the snow fizzles out. Areas south of Lansing mainly along I-94 will see the chance for a period of steady snow from about 10 A.M. until around 3 P.M. Some light accumulations on grassy and elevated surfaces will be possible. Snow ends for everyone by about 4 P.M. and we will see partly cloudy skies take over for the rest of the day. Chilly again with high temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s. We see decreasing clouds tonight turning mostly clear, and it will be cold again with lows falling into the mid 20s. Thursday may see a quick burst of snow early in the morning but we should dry out quickly with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures remain below average with highs in the low 40s. A disturbance passes by south of the state Thursday night into Friday and we may see some snow changing over to a mix Friday afternoon. We warm up this weekend. Mostly sunny with highs in the low 50s Saturday, we warm into the mid 50s Sunday with a few chances for light rain off and on during the day. Temperatures in the low to mid 50s Monday with plenty of sunshine. Partly sunny skies Tuesday with a chance for light rain in the evening.
