LANSING, Mich. — Tonight we are expecting mostly clear skies, which will allow temps to fall through the 50s for a cooler start to the day Sunday. Clouds thicken up briefly tomorrow morning, but then we turn mostly sunny again in the afternoon with temps climbing into the mid 70s. With low humidity expected, tomorrow looks to be a very comfortable day, best spent outside.
High pressure drifts to the east on Monday allowing a return flow to bring warmer and muggier air back into the region with highs approaching 90 degrees Monday and Tuesday. We are tracking an active set up late Tuesday through Wednesday as the remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal make their way into Mid-Michigan, bringing the chance for widespread rain, storms, and gusty winds. Beyond Wednesday, temps cool off quite a bit and fall below seasonable levels heading into the next weekend.
