Another Round of Storms Early Tomorrow Morning then Returning to Full Sunshine

LANSING, Mich. — Showers and storms have winded down across Mid-Michigan but we are not out of the woods quite yet with regards to this cold front. For much of the overnight period, we will stay dry, but by the wee hours of tomorrow morning an upper level disturbance catches the slow moving front and we will likely see some additional showers and thunderstorms that will taper by the mid-morning hours.

Behind the front, drier air will quickly work in setting up a beautiful second half of the day to wrap up the weekend. Nice weather continues to start the coming workweek, although a weak secondary front could spark off a couple of additional storms Monday afternoon. Overall, next week looks like a pretty great summer-week with seasonable temps and a lot of sunshine, as surface high pressure settles overhead. An upper level system may touch off some showers Wednesday, but then Thursday and Friday look fantastic ahead of what could be another active weekend.
