LANSING, Mich. — Well today was quite the unsettled day across Mid-Michigan behind last nights passing cold front. Temps fell through the day, scattered snow showers led to reduced visibilities, and winds were very gusty out there. Good news though in the form of building high pressure that looks to stick with us through the coming workweek.
We see the influence of the building high tonight as skies clear out heading into tomorrow morning. Winds remain gusty tonight early on but slacken off by the morning. The lighter winds are short lived however, as they quickly ramp back up through the day, becoming sustained in that 20-25 mph range with gusts between 30 and 40 mph possible. With ample sunshine tomorrow, temps climb a bit but remain below average in the mid 40′s. Don’t worry though, we quickly begin a warming trend starting Tuesday that will last at least through the next weekend! Temps will be climbing through the 60′s with lots of sunshine!
