LANSING, Mich. — Temperatures will be well above average today and Friday. A strong southwesterly wind flow will bring in a warmer air mass, allowing temperatures to climb to near 60 degrees this afternoon. Skies will be partly sunny today with some higher level clouds around the region, and then we’ll be partly to mostly cloudy tonight. Overnight lows will drop into the mid to upper 40s. Friday will be similar to today, but with a little more cloud cover and highs in the upper 50s.

Saturday we sit north of a front so we stay dry until later in the day. Skies will become mostly cloudy on Saturday with seasonable high temperatures in the mid 40s. Rain showers will move in Saturday night and into Sunday. With colder air expected to build in during the day on Sunday, we may see snow mixing in with our rain showers. Highs on Sunday will be in the lower 40s early in the day, and then our temperatures will drop into the 30s in the afternoon.

Quiet weather conditions return for Monday with partly cloudy skies expected. Highs will be cool on Monday, only reaching to near 40 degrees. Another chance of rain will arrive late Tuesday and into Wednesday.
