LANSING, Mich. — Warm with more clouds today it will be partly to mostly cloudy. A few degrees warmer compared to yesterday with highs in the mid 30s this afternoon. The first day of winter begins Saturday with above average temperatures as highs reach the low 40s with mostly sunny skies. We warm up even further in to the mid and upper 40s Sunday into Monday with a good amount of sunshine. Christmas eve and Christmas day feature more clouds, but it stays dry and warm with highs in the low 40s. Scattered rain showers arrive late Wednesday night into Thursday with cooler temperatures back down in the upper 30s.
