LANSING, Mich. — Scattered light rain moves through the area this morning with dropping temperatures. We start the day with temperatures in the 50s that fall into the low 40s by late this morning, we should rebound back into the upper 40s to near 50 degrees later this afternoon for daytime highs. Rain ends before lunchtime and we see quickly clearing skies turning mostly sunny for most of the day. A few more clouds return tonight becoming partly cloudy. It gets chilly with lows falling into the low 30s. Another fast moving system set to arrive Wednesday. A light mix of rain and snow passes through Wednesday afternoon. Any snow will melt quickly and precipitation is expected to be little more than drizzle. Highs tomorrow will be slightly cooler in the mid 40s. Dry to start the day Thursday with increasing clouds, it will be warm though, with highs in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees. Rain moves in Thursday evening and will last overnight. Dry Friday through the weekend, but it will be colder. Highs in the low 40s Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Partly to mostly sunny skies each day. We warm back up to around 50 degrees next Monday with mostly cloudy skies.
