LANSING, Mich. — A warm end to the work week. Today will be similar to what we've been seeing for most of the week, highs in the mid 80s with partly sunny skies. A cold front moves through this afternoon and may spark a few isolated showers or thunderstorms and some storms could contain gusty winds. Best time frame for activity will be from about 3-6 P.M., but not everyone will see the rain and we will be dry before the time the sun sets. Partly cloudy skies turn mostly clear overnight with lows in the upper 50s. This weekend should be beautiful with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 70s. Humidity will be low both days so it should be comfortable. Temperatures return to the 80s Monday with plenty of sunshine. Highs soar into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees Tuesday, mostly sunny during the day then a chance for a few thunderstorms late Tuesday night. Scattered thunderstorms with some heavy rain likely Wednesday with highs in the low 80s. Drying out Thursday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 70s.
