As of August 15, 2016, Michigan State University will be going tobacco-free.
The Michigan State University Board of Trustees' recent approval is part of a continuous effort to create a healthy campus and environment for the community to enjoy.
According to tobaccofree.msu.edu, "The new ordinance applies to all property governed by the Board of Trustees and includes not only campus but also all MSU sites across the state, nation and globe."
Cigarettes, chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes and vaporizers will all be prohibited.
