Michigan State's softball team made it to the Big Ten softball tournament. Thursday they faced the Fighting Illini. It's the Spartans first time back in the tournament since 2014.
MSU, seeded at ten, faced a seventh seeded Illinois, in the single-game elimination tournament.
Unfortunately, for the Spartans, the Illini had a three-run rally in the bottom of the seventh giving them a 3-2 win over Michigan State.
Spartans final record was 27-28.
