Posted

In celebration of author Beatrix Potter’s 150th birthday, PETER RABBITTM TALES brings the classic stories of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny to Wharton Center’s Pasant Theatre on Saturday, February 27, 2015. Tickets are available at Wharton Center’s official ticketing outlets: online at whartoncenter.com, at the Auto-Owners Insurance Ticket Office at Wharton Center, or by calling 1-800- WHARTON.

Adapted from the classic children’s book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, Enchantment Theatre Company brings the stories of Peter Rabbit to life in an interactive theatre experience described as “palpable” and “engaging” by State Theatre’s Lian Farrer in New Brunswick, NJ. This spring, Enchantment Theatre Company will take families through the adventures of Peter Rabbit – from escaping Mr. McGregor, to outfoxing Mr. Tod and rescuing the
Flopsy bunnies from the disagreeable badger, Tommy Brock. These stories will enchant  both kids and adults alike!

The Tale of Peter Rabbit is one of the most beloved children’s novels of all time. Released in 1902, the book quickly became a bestseller. Today, after having sold more than 45-million copies and being translated into 36 different languages, it is considered to be one of the greatest selling books of all time. The stage production comes just in time for the 150th birthday anniversary of author Beatrix Potter (July 28, 1866). Through puppetry, gorgeous scenery, music and magic, the world of Beatrix Potter comes to life on stage!
