"Honestly it makes me sick to my stomach."

"It makes me feel really sad."

"Really uncomfortable," Laurielle Martin said.

The thoughts of only some Michigan State University students after they heard about the alleged sexual assault on MSU's campus involving the football program.

"You just want to be in a safe environment and this should be a safe place and right now there are concerns about different things happening that just shouldn't be happening," Ingrid Ford, an MSU student said.

"It's definitely scary," Martin said.
Some students tell me they look up to student athletes at MSU. These accusations have them worried.

"Especially because athletes are like praised especially since this is like a big 10,” Martin said.

"It's like a big thing that these guys supposedly did. I mean i really hope that the accusations are wrong," an MSU student said.

In the meantime, the allegations have left some students paying more attention to what's going on around them.

“It's just more being aware. You think that things like this don't happen, but they do," Martin said.

One student says although the allegations are concerning, she doesn't want them to define the university.

"That's not what MSU stands for,” Ford said. “And I've always felt like this is a really great environment to be in," Ford said.
