The President of MSU, Lou Anna K. Simon, recently rejected a pay raise for the eighth time in ten years. Her annual salary of $750,000 will stay the same, and instead they're naming a scholarship after her and her husband.
The new scholarship will be given to a student who is the first in their family to attend college, just like President Simon.
Two years ago, she received a six-figure bonus, but donated it back to MSU.
