“Beethoven!” MSU’s upcoming concert celebrating the legendary composer, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on March 14 at Fairchild Theatre in the MSU Auditorium.
The concert will begin with one of Beethoven’s early works, Piano Trio in C minor, Op. 1 No. 3. Pianist and member of the Juilliard School faculty, Rohan De Silva, will join College of Music artists for this first piece.
“We are so pleased to host Rohan De Silva,” said Deborah Moriarty, chair of the piano area. “He is an amazing pianist and collaborative artist. We look forward to his performance and master class.”
Beethoven’s Septet in E-flat major, Op. 20 will be performed for the second half of the concert.
