Michigan State University Distinguished Professor John Kaneene, professor of epidemiology and public health in the College of Veterinary Medicine, has been honored by the Pan African Medical Journal, or PAMJ.
The PAMJ published a supplemental special issue dedicated to research and graduate training conducted in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ethiopia by Kaneene and his collaborators. The project is called “Capacity Building in Integrated Management of Transboudary Animal Diseases and Zoonoses.”
In addition to conducting the research and graduate training programs, Kaneene served as a guest editor of the supplemental special issue.
