Tickets are on sale for “Motown the Musical,” a story of Motown founder Berry Gordy’s journey from featherweight boxer to the heavyweight music mogul who launched the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Smokey Robinson and many more.
The musical will be performed on March 15-20 at Wharton Center’s Cobb Great Hall.

March 18 at 8 p.m.
March 19 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
March 20 at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Featuring more than 40 classic hits such as “My Girl” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” the musical tells the story behind the hits as Ross, Robinson, Berry and the whole Motown family fight against the odds to create the soundtrack of change in America.
