It was a good night to be Michigander on football's biggest stage.
There are highlights from Super Bowl 50; sacks, fumbles, missed field goals, that tell the story of the game. Within those highlights are two individuals from the great state of Michigan.
Former Spartan Bennie Fowler and former Wolverine Devin Funchess are both in the highlight reels as rookies.
Funchess, a Panther, caught a 24 yard catch from quarterback Cam Newton at the end of the first quarter.
And Fowler, a Bronco, caught a two-point conversion from quarterback Peyton Manning to give the Broncos a 24-10 lead, and ultimately win the Super Bowl.
Congratulations to both Funchess and Fowler as well as Michigan State and Michigan fans everywhere.
