Just months after being elected to the college football hall of fame Kirk Gibson will receive another high honor.
The former two sport spartan will be MSU's upcoming commencement speaker.
The university will present him an honorary Doctorate of Humanities at the May 5th ceremony.
Gibson is now a color commentator for Fox Sports Detroit for Detroit Tigers baseball.
