High expectations are said to be set for the Michigan State basketball team as they enter a new season.

Most of last season's key Spartan players are returning, including sophomore Miles Bridges who turned down a chance to be an NBA Lottery Pick.

Coach Tom Izzo begins his 23rd year as Spartan Head Coach and says his goal is to win the school's third National Championship next April at the Final Four in San Antonio.

Michigan State's first big test comes on November 14th when they take on Duke at the "Champions Classic" in Chicago.
