No. 22 Michigan State men’s soccer concluded the preseason with an explosive, 4-1, win over No. 25 Butler Friday at the Shindigz National Soccer Festival in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
“I thought this was a great way to end preseason. It was great to get on the board; we scored a nice goal to start. We had great ball movement and great pressure. After giving up an uncharacteristic goal, the guys really responded and went right back to work. We got a great, much-deserved goal to end the first half,” MSU head coach Damon Rensing said.
