Michigan State University's Broad Art Museum is getting a $1 million dollar grant from the MSU Federal Credit Union.

The money will help foot the bill for a new facility across the street.

The expansion will include a research center and display space for the museum's 7,500 piece collection.

The Broad Center opened in 2012. It sits on Grand River just west of Farm Lane.
