The Michigan State University Board of Trustees will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Board Room of the Hannah Administration Building.
Following are items the board will consider.
Adoption of room and board rates for 2017-18.
Authorization to plan for replacement seating at the Wharton Center.
Authorization to plan for renovations to Cook Hall, Olin Health Center and the Engineering Research Complex, as well as authorization to plan for renovations to make several campus buildings more energy efficient.
In addition, the board will receive reports from the president and board chairperson, and the gifts, grants and contracts report.
Also at the meeting, 52 students with the highest GPAs at the close of their last semester will receive Board of Trustees’ Awards.
And administrators will discuss a new report on MSU student and workforce diversity throughout the past 10 years.
