The Associated Students of Michigan State University recently received two awards at the Conference on Student Government Associations including Outstanding Student Government of the Year.
"We are thankful to have been awarded such high honors by the Conference on Student Government Associations. The recognition by the two awards is a testament to the teamwork, importance, and dedication of student leaders at ASMSU, and more importantly, the power of student voice on our campus and throughout our community," said Lorenzo Santavicca, ASMSU president.
The second award that ASMSU was honored with was the Outstanding Achievement Award for Legislative Action.
COSGA is a student-run organization at Texas A&M University that has been hosting the conference and awarding the achievement since 1981. The conference welcomes more than 400 delegates from institutions across the nation as well as schools from Qatar, Mexico and the Caribbean.
ASMSU takes pride in the work that we do every day to better the lives of MSU students and make meaningful contributions to society.
