If you thought Disney’s sequel to its blockbuster movie “Frozen” would be just another princess movie, think again. The first full-length trailer for “Frozen 2” shows that, as per usual, sisters Elsa and Anna won’t be waiting for a prince to come to the rescue. In fact, the royal pair looks like they’re on the verge of an epic heroic quest.

“Frozen 2” is slated to hit theaters across the country on November 22, just in time for the holiday season. The long-awaited sequel has had fans guessing what could possibly be next for Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, Kristoff, Olaf the snowman and Sven the reindeer. When Disney released the “Frozen 2” trailer on June 11, however, they left more questions than answers for eager movie watchers.

Like the teaser trailer released earlier this year, the newest preview has no direct spoilers (thank goodness), but a few things certainly will have people talking:

A Darker Movie?

The latest trailer looks rather dark, both in appearance and in story. From Queen Elsa facing challenges like a raging ocean and large rock monsters to Anna facing some sort of magical forest fire, these women look more like superheroes than pretty princesses.

What Is In Elsa’s Past?

During the preview, Elsa gets a grim warning from a magical troll who tells her “the past is not what it seems.” He pleads with her to go out and find the truth. Meanwhile, Anna promises the troll that she will protect her sister, no matter what.

What New Magic Will We See?

Audiences got to see Elsa’s ice and snow powers in the first movie and the official trailer shows her wielding it in a variety of ways. We also see magical fire, magical wind and even animals that look Patronus-like, as in the “Harry Potter” universe. Is all of this magic made by Elsa? Or is there another character who will give Elsa and our favorite “Frozen” characters even more problems to contend with?

We’re sure more trailers will pop up in the months leading up to the November premiere!
