After a late basketball practice on Tuesday, Michigan’s women’s head coach Kim Barnes Arico had a surprise for one of her players.

Senior walk-on, Halle Wangler, finally got a scholarship.
Halle is the daughter of John Wangler, a former Michigan quarterback who led the Wolverines to a Rose Bowl win in 1981.
